My iPhone 4 was robbed from me.

Well, I think I am the first victim of iPhone 4 robbery.

I reserved my phone in Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, New York. On July 4, someone called me and said that they want to buy the iPhone 4 as one of their friend bought the phone from me before. He said if I can deliver it since he lived like 5 – 10 minutes from my house. So we set up a time and I went. It was brand new sealed pack black 32gb iPhone 4. So I drove to the point where we were supposed to meet and he came. I told him to sit in the car and he checked the phone. It was on the main road on Hempstead turnpike and Elmont Road. It’s a main busy junction with traffic all the time, even in the night. So he looked at the phone and said he wanted to get money from the atm. He said that and he opened up the door and fled away. I drove behind him but he went into the park. I thought of getting out of the car and running behind him in the park but then because of the neighbourhood I though it would be safe to stay in the car. You never know he might have his friends out waiting to beat me up as soon as I step outside the car. Lolz You never know these loosers who know how to steal but not know how to earn it.

So I called 911 right away. Cops came in 3 to 4 minutes. I told them the whole story. One of the cop asked me what kind of phone was it. I told him it’s the iPhone 4 and the cop sitting next to him showed me his iPhone 4 and said “It was the same one, right!”

I got so mad as he rubbed it on my face. Anyway, so the cop started making the report and asked me for the description of the person. He was black, male, 6 feet, wearing white tshirt, white shorts in this 20’s. He told me his name was Justin but obviously it was a fake name. While the cop was making the report I called the same number where the so called Justin called me from and I gave it to the cop. Somebody picked up the phone and cop started talking with him. Then the cop rolled his window up and I couldn’t listen to anything. He talked on the phone for about 10 minutes and then rolled the window down and told me to dial another number. So I dialed the other number and the cop rolled the window again. After 2-3 minutes the cop rolled the window down and told me that these are young kids and playing the games on the phone. He said not to worry as he is making the report and detectives will track the phone number and will get the person.

So, I signed the police report and at the end the cop wrote, “I want this guy to get arrested” I liked this part of the report. I read the report and signed it.

So, here is the story of my iPhone robbed from me. I will write the description again. The name he told me was Justin, was black male, in his 20’s, 6 feet tall, was wearing white tshirt and white sports at the time he robbed me. He obviously lived in Elmont New York and few blocks from Elmont Road and Hempstead Turnpike. I always look for bright side in people and I have no interest in him getting arrested. He is a young kid with his whole life ahead of him. If he get arrested his life will be ruined with charges of theft, larceny on his records for the rest of his life. I mean, it depends if kids like him ever realize what are the consequences.

Anyway, wish me good luck guys. I hope that detectives really take this as serious and work on this case. I will keep you guys updated.
